Jomo Cosmos boss Jomo Sono is considering meeting with Thato Lingwati's parents to discuss the defender's poor performances this season.
Sono blasted Lingwati again after he was shown a red card in Cosmos' 3-1 defeat to Bidvest Wits last night.
Lingwati was dismissed for an off-the-ball incident involving Man of the Match Phakamani Mahlambi at Bidvest Stadium.
Sono previously slammed Lingwati for his efforts against Mamelodi Sundowns nearly two months ago before praising him for impressing on his return against Kaizer Chiefs on October 20.
However, Lingwati is once again in Sono's bad books.
"My defender made it very difficult for us. You don't do stupid things like that, the referee has already blown and has already given a ball to him and he is still hitting somebody with an elbow," Sono says.
"Even if you miss him the intention was always to hit him. So playing a team like Wits and you are already one man down, it's very difficult because they got so much experience and they controlled the game making it very difficult for us.
"We tried but there is no way they could have lasted for 90 minutes without conceding another goal."
Sono adds: "I think his parents must speak to him. I'm done because even when we were in the play-offs he got a red card for kicking some one outside the field.
"It is difficult for me. Maybe I will have to speak to his parents to tell him that in a football game, we don't use emotions we just play football. There is nothing much I can do."
Sono felt Cosmos could have got something out of the game before Lingwati was given his marching orders.
"I strongly believe we had a chance even though we were trailing 1-0 we had a chance with equal numbers. Even when we were short we still managed to get some shots in."
