Mamelodi Sundowns defender Wayne Arendse has identified Jeremy Brockie and Bradley Grobler as two SuperSport United players who could give them problems in their Telkom Knockout semi-final.
Arendse says the Brazilians will need to keep these two quiet at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday night if they are to have a chance of winning the match and proceeding to the Final.
“SuperSport is a good team. They have very good attacking players like Jeremy Brockie, Bradley Grobler and Dean Furman, so we are expecting a very tough encounter and a physical game from them. We need to keep them quiet,” Arendse says.
“It is going to be a hard game, it won't be easy for both teams. I think tomorrow's game is going to be the one good [Tshwane] derby we are all looking forward to.”
The defender is also looking at their recent brilliant League form to spur them on against Gordon Igesund's charges as they look to reach the Final.
Downs are unbeaten since they lost to Golden Arrows two months ago and come into this fixture as favourites.
“We’ve got got to look at our League form and no matter whether we play cup or League, at the end of the day it’s all about consistency and we have been doing that in the League, so we just need to go out there and play the way we have been playing and be consistent and the results will come,” he concludes.
