Absa Premiership Manager of the Month Cavin Johnson rates Bongi Ntuli as one of the best forwards in South Africa, while he says Masibusane Zongo must show maturity this season.
The pair caught the eye in Platinum Stars' 2-0 win at University of Pretoria on Sunday.
Ntuli netted his third goal of the season after being released by strike partner Ndumiso Mabena, while Zongo enhanced his show-boating reputation with some entertaining touches at Tuks Stadium.
"Zongo has never been given a good run in the PSL. He needs to mature this season," Johnson said after picking up his PSL award alongside fellow winner Collins Mbesuma on Monday.
"We have so much talent in this country.
"I've always rated Bongi Ntuli. I rate him as one of the best strikers in South Africa."
Ntuli is on loan at Stars from Mamelodi Sundowns, having struck six times during a short stint at AmaZulu last season. The powerful hitman previously bagged nine goals for Golden Arrows in 2013/14.
The 25-year-old Zongo, who joined the log leaders in January, is seeking to rebuild his career after off-field problems derailed his development.
