KickOff.com can reveal that Mpumalanga Black Aces defender Eddie Ngalo was ejected from camp ahead of the League game against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium last night.
Ngalo was in the squad to play Amakhosi but was told to leave the team hotel the night before, according to a source close to Aces.
"Ngalo was here in the camp but was later told to leave the hotel and the team's car came to pick him up," say the source.
AmaZayoni coach Muhsin Ertugral said in a post-match interview that Ngalo cost his side during the Telkom Knockout Cup tie against Chiefs this past weekend.
“You mention Ngalo? He is actually the one who cost us the first game [against Chiefs] and that’s not right especially for a captain. We had a complete tactical approach to the game and the way he defended led to Chiefs capitalising," Ertugral said on Tuesday night.
Ertugral has since confirmed Ngalo left the hotel before the match but appealed that the issue not be blown out of proportion.
"If a player doesnt agree on certain tactical approach of the game, you bring someone else," says Ertugral.
