Bloemfontein Celtic managing director Rali Ramabodu says he is not surprised that Wandisile Letlabika has been handed the Bafana Bafana armband.

Celtic midfielder Letlabika will captain the national side in a CHAN qualifier with Angola at Rand Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.

"Wandisile’s courageous attitude and leadership skill deserves appreciation and we are not surprised that he has been named the captain of the team," Ramabodu told his club's website.

"He is also versatile and that makes him a suitable team leader who can guide authentically.”

The weekend match (starts at 15h00) will be televised on SABC 1.

The return leg will be played at the 11th October Stadium in Luanda on October 24.
