Eleazar Rodgers on Rivaldo Coetzee and Abbubakar Mobara

Platinum Stars striker Eleazar Rodgers says he is relishing the prospect of playing against his former Ajax Cape Town teammates like Rivaldo Coetzee and Abbubakar Mobara this weekend.

Rodgers, who spent six months on loan at Ikamva, tells that he has the utmost respect for the young defensive duo from the Urban Warriors.

“They are quality players and they both have a bright future ahead of the them,” he says. “They are very pacey and read the game well.

“However, as good as they are, they lack the necessary experience and this is where I can outwit them.”

The former Mamelodi Sundowns striker – who has already netted twice this season – is adamant he can equal or better his best goal tally of 12 goals he scored for Santos during the  2012/13 Premier League season.

The table-topping Dikwena face Ajax on Sunday afternoon.
