Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has shed some light on the absence of striker Fiston Abdul Razak.
Razak has struggled to even make the bench lately with Cuthbert Malajila and Katlego Mashego preferred upfront by Mosimane, while Anthony Laffor and Leonardo Castro have been deployed as impact players.
Mosimane says competition for places in his side is the reason why the highly-rated Burundi international has fallen down the pecking order.
"Fiston is okay [not injured]," 'Jingles' says.
"It's very difficult to get into the team. He scored in Burundi the last international week. I saw the game and I was impressed. He's going away again and I hope he scores but he has to break into the team and it's not easy at Sundowns."
Mosimane adds that Castro, who hasn't made it off the bench in the last two games, will also get his chance.
"I wanted to play him when we were leading 2-0 against [Jomo] Cosmos but we had only a minute left," Mosimane says.
"Against Chippa United I wanted to play him but the forced substitution of [Tebogo] Langerman changed things.
"I wanted to give him a chance because I know what we have but I think at this point in time we need to win. It's not about sentimental things, we need to win."
