Golden Arrows coach Serame Letsoaka has confirmed that Kudakwashe Mahachi will be available for their clash against Ajax Cape Town in the Telkom Knockout on Saturday.
Mahachi trained with the team squad today and Letsoaka said the player is expected to receive all his paperwork in the next 48 hours, meaning he may feature for Abafana Bes’thende on the weekend.
The Zimbabwean international completed his move to Arrows on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns last week after he was frozen out by the Chloorkop-based side as their foreign quota had already been filled.
"Mahachi will be a surprise and for now, you can see that he's training with the team at moment," Letsoaka said.
"In the next 48 hours we will know about his registration - it has been done but there are finer things that we have to finalise with Mahachi, and that will be finalised tomorrow.
“In the 48 hours, we will know exactly what is happening."
Other players that are likely to be back for Arrows are Mwape Musonda and Chris Katjiukua, who have recovered from respective ankle and knee injuries.
The latter has missed all the matches the club has played thus far, while the Mwape suffered an ankle injury in the 2-1 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this month.
Arrows host MTN8 champions Ajax in their Telkom Knockout clash at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday.
