Pelembe has shone since joining Celtic on a season-long loan, netting three times for high-flying Phunya Sele Sele.

The Mozambican striker opened his account with a cracker of a goal against Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 before bagging a brace in his side's 2-0 win over University of Pretoria in the League on Sunday.

Mthokozisi Dube, another loanee from Bucs, has also impressed Larsen.

"Yes, that's something that we discussed at the beginning of the season. We knew that the likes of Mthokozisi Dube and Helder Pelembe coming on loan from Pirates will make an impact," Larsen says.

"And they have already made an impact and we will try our best to keep them in the club."

Meanwhile, Larsen confirmed Malawian striker Gabadinho Mhango has recovered from injury and could make his return against Mpumalanga Black Aces in the Telkom Knockout this weekend.

"Mhango is back. He has already played 20 minutes in the Diski Team [Reserve League team]. There is chance that he might be in the 18-man squad to play against Aces on the weekend."
