Bloem Celtic coach Clinton Larsen pleased to have strikers Massa, Pelembe, Lamola, Mhango

Bloemfontein Celtic coach Clinton Larsen is pleased with the firepower at his disposal following the signing of Geofrey Massa and Helder Pelembe.

Celtic enlisted the pair in the off-season to complement fellow strikers Gabadinho Mhango and Lerato Lamola, who came second in the PSL scoring charts with 13 goals last term.

"I think you can ask any of the coaches in the League, goal-scoring is the problem and it is the reason why we brought in Massa and Pelembe because it's an area we felt needed beefing up," says Larsen.

"We only had Mhango and Lamola in that department and we brought in two more. Each striker comes in with something totally different. Geofrey has got the great shot and he plays with his back to goal and Pelembe's movement is good.

"Lamola is tricky in possession and Mhango is very, very quick so we got four very different type of strikers and it augurs well for us moving forward."

Larsen is also set to be boosted by the return of attack-minded recruit Vuyisile Wana.

The former Moroka Swallows forward is due back at training next month as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
