Sishuba, making his first start of an injury-ravaged season, opened the scoring in the 30th minute and put in an excellent all-round contribution before being substituted 10 minutes from time.
Sishuba, who played for FC Fortune in the South African First Division, left for Belgium in 2002, when he joined Mouscron.
Things did not work out for the 28-year-old first time round and he moved on to Antwerp, Heusden-Zolder and Sint-Truiden, before rejoining Mouscron earlier this year.
He only returned to fitness at the start of October and made his first start against Brugge after a number of appearances off the bench.
Van Heerden, who himself is just coming back from a long-term groin injury, did not make it off the bench for Brugge.
