Kaizer Chiefs’ injury crisis easing up

Kaizer Chiefs have received some good news on the injury front as a number of players make their way back.

KickOff.com recently reported that Mulumowandau Mathoho was back in training after a toe injury and is busy regaining match fitness.

Two other defenders, Morgan Gould and Daniel Cardoso, are expected back in September. Gould ruptured his Achilles tendon four months ago, while Cardoso arrived with an injury after joining from Free State Stars.

Simphiwe Mtsweni is also expected back in September after undergoing surgery on a foot injury, while Lucky Baloyi will be back in three weeks after hurting himself in a pre-season match.
