Black Leopards keen to sign Roggert Nyundu

Posted: 15 July 2015 Time: 22:40

Black Leopards are preparing to offer Roggert Nyundu a permanent contract - if they can resolve his issues with Polokwane City.

The midfielder spent last season on loan at Lidoda Duvha and impressed as he scored 18 goals in 17 games.

He returned to Rise & Shine, but then went public with how desperate he was to leave the club, claiming he is only paid R5 000 per month.

Leopards coach Zeca Marques confirmed their interest in the player, but was wary of jumping the gun.

"We have to wait and see how things develop," Marques says. "We want to see how he removes himself from the contract he has with Polokwane City.

“I think we are going to sort out an amicable decision and he will be joining us. He is here, but he is not training at the moment because he is injured."
