Mpumalanga Black Aces trio Abia Nale, Miguel Timm and Valery Nahayo have been frozen out at the club and asked to accept contract terminations.
KickOff.com has gathered that the three players have been informed not to train with the rest of the Aces squad and have been informed that their services are no longer needed.
All three have been handed termination letters via their representatives stipulating that they take a financial settlement of the equivalent of three months’ salary for what remains of their contracts.
Nale has surprisingly fallen out of favour at the club despite starting 24 games last season while Timm and Nahayo both played cameo roles.
Gordon Masondo, the club spokesman, chose not to comment on the issue when contacted.
“I have no comment to make on that matter,” says Masondo.
The other player no longer in the club’s plans is Roger da Costa, who is now attending trials with Cyprus club Aris Limassol as he seeks to continue with his career elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral is assessing Ugandan forward Richard Kassaga, who featured as a substitute in the Maize Triangle Challenge over the weekend.
