PSL transfer news: SuperSport keeper Chigova confirms Polokwane City talks

SuperSport United goalkeeper George Chigova has confirmed he is leaving the Telkom Knockout holders, with Polokwane City his likely destination.

The clubs have been discussing a prospective move for the Zimbabwean, who failed to feature in the Absa Premiership last season.

"Yes, I am leaving SuperSport. I understand both teams are still negotiating," says Chigova.

"I don't mind where I would be playing as long as I can get game-time I will be happy."

Chigova has provided cover to Ronwen Williams in Tshwane since arriving from Harare-based Dynamos in February 2014.

City recently parted ways with first-choice keeper Modiri Marumo.
