Willem Mwedihanga leaves AmaZulu

Posted: 7 July 2015 Time: 21:01

AmaZulu have confirmed that Namibian defender Willem Mwedihanga has left the club following the expiry of his contract at the end of last month.

Mwedihanga featured prominently at Usuthu last season starting 20 games but he has now left after the club decided against renewing his contract, which ran until June 30.

The 29-year-old has also confirmed to KickOff.com that he is now back home in Namibia contemplating his next move.

“I am back in Namibia now after my contract wasn’t renewed at AmaZulu,” he says after Usuthu officials had earlier said the Namibian has left the club.

Mwedihanga joined Usuthu towards the end of 2012, rising through to be a regular this past season.
