“That’s wonderful news,” the shrewd youth mentor told Ezenkosi fans on the club’s website.
“There are quite a few others who should have made the team and we hope they also get to be given a chance to show what they can do. We can only wish Ashley the best and that he and the others represent the country well.”
Amajita coach Serame Letsoaka, in naming the team that will take part in the youth tournament, to be held in Mpumalanga Province from December 2-10, said he hoped that the young players selected would ensure that the Cosafa Cup remains at home.
During the tournament Amajita, who are the defending champions, will lock horns with countries such as Lesotho, Botswana and Mauritius in the group stages.
