Marumo and Osei out of Polokwane

Polokwane City will start the new season minus Botswana goalkeeper Modiri Marumo and Ghana striker Ransford Osei.
Marumo was the first choice keeper for most of last season, starting 21 games in all competitions but has been sacrificed as the club seeks to make changes to their defensive structure.
The veteran goalkeeper did not return to the club for pre-season as his contract was already up and his work permit had expired at the end of May.
The club is in negotiations with SuperSport United for Zimbabwean keeper George Chigova as they have only two relatively inexperienced keepers, Dino Visser and Kgothatso Mahia on their books.
Polokwane have also lost the services of Ransford Osei just six months after he joined the club.
There were high hopes when former Asante Kotoko striker Osei signed but his time in Limpopo was marred by injury and he managed just three substitute appearances during his time with Polokwane.
