Nkosinathi Mthiyane is set to leave AmaZulu after his side lost their PSL status last season as the club start their restructuring process in preparation for next season’s First Division campaign.
The former Thanda Royal Zulu wingerer fractured his left arm in the first match of last season against Ajax Cape Town, ruling him out for several many months, before struggling to win his place in the side on his return from injury under then new coach Steve Barker.
The player’s representative Sanele Shazi has however revealed that a trio of PSL clubs have shown interest in the 27-year-old.
"Nothing has been finalised as yet on paper, but I can confirm to you that Ajax Cape Town, Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows have shown interest in the player," Shazi tells KickOff.com.
"Having said this, these clubs approached him directly and were talking to him and obviously he wants to leave because he has this feeling that AmaZulu don't believe in wingers, so we want to try somewhere else."
Mthiyane is left with one year left on his contract, having signed a three-year deal from Thanda two seasons ago.
The winger shared the NFD Golden Boot in 2012/13 with Lesvin Stoffels of Milano United with 14 goals.
