Orlando Pirates pull out of Siyabonga Ngubane deal

Posted: 25 June 2015 Time: 17:31

KickOff.com has been informed that Orlando Pirates have pulled out of a deal to sign ex-University of Pretoria midfielder Siyabonga Ngubane.

Pirates have decided against signing Ngubani due to undisclosed reasons despite one of their club officials indicating earlier this week that a deal would be completed next week.

The Durban-born midfielder rejected a new deal at AmaTuks after receiving “a good offer somewhere”, according to Tuks coach Sammy Troughton, and could now sign with another club in Gauteng according to a source close to the player.

Golden Arrows and Mpumalanga Black Aces are also reported to be monitoring the player's situation.

The 26-year-old joined Tuks in July 2013 following a loan spell – along with Buhle Mkhwanazi – as part of the swap deal that saw Bongani Zungu link up with Mamelodi Sundowns.
