Free State Stars captain Paulus Masehe says he felt appreciated at the club when he was offered a new contract before the end of the season.
The midfielder, whose previous deal was expiring in June, recently penned fresh terms with the team, along with winger Danny Venter and Angelo Kerspuy.
“I feel really good about signing a new contract because it means the club believes in me. They didn’t even wait until the end of the season to offer me a new deal,” Masehe told Stars' website.
“By December they were already talking to me about it. That showed they believe in me and in my contribution.”
Masehe made 27 starts in the League in 2014/15, weighing in with one goal and an assist.
The former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns man has been with Ea Lla Koto since July 2008.
