AmaZulu's coach Steve Barker and their main sponsors have agreed to stay with the club despite their relegation, according to Usuthu's PRO Philani Mabaso.
The Durban-based outfit are currently restructuring their affairs as they prepare to weather a drop in revenue. The PSL monthly grant is R1.5m, as compared to R380 000 in the National First Division.
AmaZulu received assistance from Spar and Kappa during their campaign in the topflight.
"At this stage as we are busy with many meetings," Mabaso tells KickOff.com.
"The coach Steve Barker is staying with the club and the sponsors have committed to stay on. That is the only confirmation I can give you now. Other than that nothing has changed.
"Regarding the players, we are busy with that and I'm hoping by the end of this month we will have an idea of who is staying and leaving."
Mbulelo Mabizela, Bongani Ndulula, Robyn Johannes and Golden Arrows target Khulekani Madondo will all see their contracts expire in June. Johannes, though, has expressed a willingness to stay on.
Ayanda Dlamini has confirmed he will remain with the side, but star midfielder Goodman Dlamini is believed to have attracted interest from Johannesburg.
Bafana Bafana fullback Marc van Heerden is also likely to have options given his form in recent seasons, while goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro is thought to be on Chippa United's radar.
