Basetsana arrived in Germany on Monday and while they have been ecstatic about the tour, they have been battling with the weather as it is currently winter in Europe.
The tour is being used as part of their preparation for the World Cup qualifiers which are due to begin in the New Year.
The Anna Monate-coached team is due to play the host nation tomorrow before they meet the Netherlands on Sunday before completing their stay in Hanover.
The Under-20 team will have Tina Theune-Meyer – the former German World Cup winning coach – working with the team to give them inspiration and technical expertise.
Augustine Makalakalane, head coach of SA women’s senior team, and Fran Hilton-Smith, the team manager, have also accompanied the Banyana Banyana feeder team.
Basetsana are due to meet Mozambique in January ahead of the marathon trip to the finals that will be played in Chile late next year.
