Match-winner Bradley Grobler was happy to provide the fresh legs needed to get over the line in SuperSport United's Nedbank Cup clash against Golden Arrows.

Grobler came off the bench to score the winning goal for Matsatsantsa, who are in their second semi-final of the season and gunning for a cup double having won the Telkom Knockout in November.

MATCH REPORT: Grobler goal enough for SuperSport

"I think Arrows put up a good test today and credit to them. They made it tough for us and we needed that one goal and I was happy to get it," Grobler said.

"Obviously my job is to score goals but I think at the time we were just falling apart a little bit so we needed the fresh legs and he [coach Gordon Igesund] just put me on in the midfield to keep the ball and calm things down a bit, and I think it worked in the end."

SuperSport join Ajax Cape Town and Vasco da Gama in the semi-final draw, which is set to take place on Monday. Mpumalanga Black Aces and Mamelodi Sundowns play for the final spot on Sunday.
