Golden Arrows coach Shaun Bartlett says he is impressed with the maturity that Andile Fikizolo has displayed at the NFD leaders since his arrival on loan from SuperSport United.
Fikizolo is no stranger to the Arrows set-up, as he was nurtured at the club from U-13 level right up to their SAB League team.
“He has grown a lot and he takes his football very seriously. His arrival from SuperSport has been beneficial for us, and I am sure he is focusing on his future and has forgotten about the past,” said Bartlett.
Fikizolo did not find much game-time at SuperSport after an impressive run in the Nedbank Cup and NFD with Thanda Royal Zulu. But he has since impressed on his return to the second tier.
Bartlett added: “I think players like Fikizolo understand what is at stake for them, so this is a good opportunity for them to revive their careers and prove their worth. He has been impressive and he works very hard and takes instructions.
“We need to keep the winning momentum going. All the players are aware of what is expected from them."
