Nyatama wants Bloemfontein Celtic stay instead of Mamelodi Sundowns return

Posted: 10 March 2015 Time: 11:53

Midfielder Musa Nyatama says he would rather stay at Bloemfontein Celtic than return to Mamelodi Sundowns.

Nyatama is on loan at Celtic from Downs, with his contract set to expire in June.

The Brazilians, though, have first option of renewing his deal.

"My contract with Sundowns expires in June but I still have one more year as an option," says Nyatama.

"Obviously I want to stay with Celtic because I am enjoying myself and getting game-time."

Nyatama has provided four assists in 19 League outings this season.

The 27-year-old netted eight goals in 30 starts in all competitions for Phunya Sele Sele last term.

Nyamata joined Sundowns from Maritzburg United in July 2010.
