A host of stars, including Orlando Pirates’ Lehlohonolo Majoro and Bidvest Wits’ Siyabonga Nhlapo, will miss this week’s midweek fixtures through suspension.

Fresh after serving a two-match suspension for receiving a straight red against Platinum Stars last month, ‘Major’ was booked in Saturday’s Soweto Derby for a foul on Chiefs captain Tefu Mashamaite – his fourth yellow card of the season – meaning he will have to sit out the Bucs’ clash against Chippa United on Tuesday.

Third-placed Bidvest Wits will be without national defender Siyabonga Nhlapo for their clash against AmaZulu tomorrow after he received two yellow cards in the Clever Boys’ shock 1-0 loss against Bloemfontein Celtic on Friday night.

Free State Stars will be without duo Katlego Mashego and Robert Sankara following their bookings in a 2-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns, who themselves will be missing Mzikayise Mashaba following his sending off in their victory on Saturday night.

Stars face Moroka Swallows while the Brazilians host Polokwane City in Wednesday night’s PSL action.

All suspended players:

Sandile Hlanti (AmaZulu)

Siyabonga Hlapo (Bidvest Wits)

Ugonna Uzochukwu, William Twala (Chippa United)

Katlego Mashego, Robert Sankara (Free State Stars)

Mzikayise Mashaba (Mamelodi Sundowns)

Nhlanhla Vilakazi (Maritzburg United)

Lehlohonolo Majoro (Orlando Pirates)

Vuyisile Ntombayithethi (University of Pretoria)

Castle KICK OFF Fantasy League continues, with your chance to win great prizes! Take note of the above suspensions, and make sure you change your team accordingly before Tuesday night's action kicks off!
