Ajax Cape Town winger Cale calls on senior players ahead of Kaizer Chiefs clash

Posted: 4 March 2015 Time: 10:04

Franklin Cale says Ajax Cape Town's senior players must make their presence felt in tonight's clash with Absa Premiership leaders Kaizer Chiefs.

A youthful Urban Warriors unit will take on Amakhosi at FNB Stadium, with kick-off at 19h30.

"It will be vital for players with experience to do well against Chiefs," Cale told his club's official website.

"I also think the younger players at Ajax have experience already, because they start playing in the PSL from a young age," added the physical winger.

Meanwhile, Erwin Isaacs is eager to build on his impressive start to life at Ikamva. The ex-Santos attacker, who is on loan from Bidvest Wits, scored his first goal for Ajax in the 2-0 win over Chippa United on Friday.

"It’s time for me to work hard to continue to be in the first eleven," he said.

"My match fitness will come, as long as I keep going and play well. When I’m fit, I’ll be working more box-to-box and doing my best for the team."
