Bidvest Wits minus Vilakazi Hlatshwayo Doutie Botes for Confederation Cup tie with Royal Leopards

Bidvest Wits will be minus midfielder Sibusiso Vilakazi and defender Thulani Hlatshwayo when they face Royal Leopards today in a CAF Confederation Cup tie at Somhlolo Stadium in Swaziland.

Wits coach Gavin Hunt has decided to rest the pair with an eye to Tuesday's crucial League match against title rivals Mamelodi Sundowns at Bidvest Stadium.

Winger Sameehg Doutie and veteran striker Henrico Botes also did not make the trip to Lobamba.

“We do respect Leopards, but we are definitely going to take the game to them. I can’t predict the score but we will be going all out," said Hunt ahead of the 17h00 kick-off.

The Clever Boys enjoy a 3-0 lead from the first leg played in Johannesburg a fortnight ago.
