Gordon Igesund on Kingston Nkhatha and Jeremy Brockie

Posted: 26 February 2015 Time: 14:58

SuperSport United coach Gordon Igesund has warned opposing teams that his new strike-force of Jeremy Brockie and Kingston Nkhatha still have a lot of goals in them this season.

The New Zealander and Zimbabwean were on the scoresheet again last night as Matsatsantsa thumped Polokwane City 4-1 in the Nedbank Cup.

SuperSport will now meet Orlando Pirates in the last 16, and already Bucs defender Ayanda Gcaba says they don’t fear the pair, but Igesund believes his front two can still get better.

“What I like about him [Brockie] is that he is a humble player who never stops working hard,” the former Bafana Bafana coach says.

“You have already seen what you can expect from him and he will get better and better.

“I am also happy with Nkhatha. He has also scored three goals since arriving. Then there is Dove Wome. He could have got a hat-trick against Polokwane City and should have done better in those situations.”
