Neil Tovey recovering after heart-attack
Posted: 25 February 2015
Neil Tovey is recovering well after suffering a triple heart-attack yesterday morning.
The former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs captain was rushed to hospital after suffering the heart-attacks while playing a game of squash.
Tovey underwent surgery yesterday whereby a stent was inserted to free up a blocked artery.
"I feel fine now," Tovey told Daily News. "It looks like there was a build-up of cholesterol over time and that narrowed the artery and caused the heart attack. I will obviously have to watch my eating from now on.”
