Moroka Swallows will not be signing any more players before the end of the transfer window.
The Dube birds have already secured two deals which saw Luyolo Nomandela joining from Mamelodi Sundowns while Edwin Sitayitayi joined from Santos.
The club has also been linked with former players Asavela Mbekile and Levy Mokgothu, but CEO Leon Prins tells KickOff.com the two will not be returning.
“Asavela and Levy will not be returning because we are done with signing players in this transfer window,” Prins tells KickOff.com.
“Sitayitayi and Nomandela are the only two players that we signed and I think they add more value to our team. We also have an amateur striker training but there is no rush because he is not registered with anyone.
Prins believes his club will be a stronger side this year, especially with the return of their injured stars.
“I think we will do well in the second half of the season because we will have guys like Lefa Tsutsulupa coming back from injury,” he added.
Swallows striker Siyabonga Nomvethe’s contract is coming to an end at the end of the season, but Prins says there talks with the striker will take place later.
“We will sit down and talk about it,” he said.
Swallows, who currently sit 13th in the PSL standings, face Mamelodi Sundowns in their first League fixture of 2015, scheduled for Tuesday, 10 February.
