Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane insists his squad is one "happy family" despite talk that some of his players want to leave in the current transfer window.
It is understood that Luyolo Nomandela, Asavela Mbekile, Wayne Sandilands, Mame Niang and Bongi Ntuli among others want out of Chloorkop due to insufficient game-time.
But Mosimane says all his charges understand that only 11 can play at a time.
“We are a happy family, those are just rumors,” Mosimane says.
“You guys [the media], some of the things I read through and I ask my people is it true? I don't know some of the things and you know how it is.
“You guys have sources, you got people and last time I had, there is two players from Zimbabwe who are coming to us and I asked [Downs official] Thulani [Thuswa], who are those two players who are coming.”
Mosimane adds that he will use more of Niang in the CAF Champions League next month. The Senegalese striker's profile has waned since he made the switch from SuperSport United at the beginning of the season.
“Mame Niang is an important player. He is more likely to suit that market in the Champions League, that's why we bought him,” Mosimane explains.
“But not only for that. He is a good player so is Luyolo Nomandela, Katlego Mashego... they all want a chance and we can't play them all.
“You must play 11 and you know how many substitutes, three. They know, they understand and we look after them at Sundowns.”
