PSL transfer news: Kaizer Chiefs keen on Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Anthony Laffor

Posted: 16 December 2014 Time: 11:59

KickOff.com has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs are keen to swoop on unsettled Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Anthony Laffor.

Laffor, whose contract expires in June, wants out at Sundowns having only made five substitute outings in the League this season.

And Amakhosi coach Stuart Baxter is said to be a big admirer of the lanky Liberian.

"Stuart Baxter is a huge fan of Anthony Laffor," says a source close to Laffor.

"He is not happy at Sundowns even though he has come on as a sub in the last two games. Chiefs are monitoring his situation at Sundowns."

Laffor joined Downs on a three-and-a-half-year deal in January 2012 from SuperSport United.

The Brazilians look set to part ways with a number of players in the January transfer window, with Bryce Moon, Siyanda Zwane, Rodney Ramagalela and Nyasha Mushekwi - who has attracted interest from Turkey - all eyeing the exit door at Chloorkop.
