Shakes Mashaba calls on Phumlani Ntshangase

Posted: 27 November 2014 Time: 10:30

Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba has called up Bidvest Wits midfielder Phumlani Ntshangase for the Nelson Mandela Challenge on Sunday.

Mashaba has been battling to get a team together after four players – Erick Mathoho, Brilliant Khuzwayo, Jabulani Shongwe and Thulani Hlatshwayo – have already been withdrawn by their clubs.

Wits CEO Jose Ferreira confirms Ntshangase’s call-up to KickOff.com, adding: "Both Shongwe and Tyson have been withdrawn, but we have agreed to release Siya Nhlapo to join Bafana Bafana camp.”

the same clubs go on to mourn if their players are not called up/

Maphanga The Bones As hurt as you sound, We pulled out Matoho but he'll be there in the 2015 Afcon team and in the first 11.  The earlier you make peace with it the better.
