Wayne Sandilands, Rodney Ramagalela and Punch Masenamela set for exit

Posted: 29 October 2014 Time: 15:21

Mamelodi Sundowns might soon part ways with some of their high-profile players who are becoming increasingly frustrated and unsettled by a lack of game-time under coach Pitso Mosimane.

KickOff.com has gathered that Wayne Sandilands, Rodney Ramagalela and Punch Masenamela are among a group of unhappy players already looking to switch allegiance when the transfer window opens in January.

Midfielder Tiyani Mabunda has already joined Free State Stars, while Edward Manqele is now on the books of Chippa United.

"The coach cannot play everyone at once, and you cannot expect players to be happy with decent salaries while they are not playing," a source tells KickOff.com.

"A number of players have already told their agents to start looking at other options.

Sandilands has fallen out of favour, with Mosimane preferring Zambian international Kennedy Mweene in his starting line-up.

Ramagalela and Masenamela have also been unable to command places in the squad and, with the likes of Mogakolodi Ngele and Keagan Dolly already signed up for next season, their chances of playing are getting slimmer.

However, Sundowns spokesperson Thulani Thuswa tells KickOff.com that the club will be very careful when considering the players they will consider putting on the transfer market.

"We are a big club and the coach has to have sufficient back-up in case of injuries. You must also remember that we will be taking part in the CAF Champions League, so we have to be prepared in terms of players," he says.

"At the moment we are not holding any discussions with clubs regarding the possibility of buying our players. Ultimately, such things will be decided after many considerations by the coach.

"We will issue a statement as a club regarding these issues if there are concrete developments.”

Maybe Sandilands and Ramagalela. Not Punch please. We are tired of watching Langerman fumble week in and week out. He must go!

VusiLordV Ramagalela is PSL material however he should be playing for clubs like SSU, PS, TUKS, Swallows. Not at Downs he has no chance of making the first 11 in that team
