FULLTIME: That's it, the points are shared. In fairness, one of the worst games you'll ever see, but Bafana edge closer to qualification.

Congo in no rush here

90 - Four minutes added on...

88 - OFFSIDE: Bafana have the ball in the back of the net as Manyisa's backheel allows Masango a clear shot, but the Pirates man was offside in teh build-up.

86 - Yellow: Gandze in the book for a late foul on Vilakazi

82 - Chance: Lovely work as first Manyisa tracks back to win the ball, then Jali creates space with a lovely stepover, before Erasmus has a shot from the edge of the area which goes just wide.

80 - SUB: Final change for SA as the hard-working Rantie is off. Vilakazi comes on.

77 - Chance: Rantie breaks through, but he is tackled. The ball falls to Masango, who fires a shot from 15 yards out just wide.

75 - SUB: Congo forced into a sub as Boukama replaces the injured N'Ganga.

69 - Manyisa in the action straight away, but his snap-shot from the edge of the area is high and wide.

67 - SUB: Another change for Bafana as Oupa Manyisa replaces Serero, who had a poor game

66 - Chance: Cross from the left finds Gandze between Coetzee and Hlatshwayo. The Congolese wins the header, which sails just wide.

62- SUB: Shakes makes his first change as Erasmus replaces Ndulula

62 - Yellow: Igori shown a yellow for his foul on Rantie.

61 - OFFSIDE: Congo have the ball in the back of the net, but the attacker was well offside. Easy call.

60 - Yellow: Hlatshwayo also goes into the book for a late challenge

58 - Yellow: Khumalo - booked for an off-the-ball incident

56 - Another cross comes in from Khumalo's side, and this time Meyiwa rushes out, but only gets fingertips to the ball. It drops to an attacker, but the Bafana defence bails the goalie out.

54 - Very good ball into the box from the right as the visitors attack, but Mathoho comes good with a clearing header.

52 - Finally some better combination play from the hosts, but Hlatshwayo's final ball is a poor one.

50 - Masango looks to be through on goal, but play is brought back for Ndulula's foul on a defender.

46 - We are back on, and no changes to report from either side. Only change? The weather has taken a severe turn for the worse!

HALFTIME: SA 0 Congo 0 - Poor first half so far, with the best chance falling to the visitors, but Meyiwa pulled off a fine save.

44 - Bafana just can't hang onto the ball. It's been a poor performance so far. They seem very rushed in everything they do.

39 - Bafana's chance at a corner time. mathoho attacks it well, but he is under pressure and the ball loops over the bar.

35 - Chance! Another corner, and a free header for Ndinga, but Meyiwa makes a fine save low to his left!

31 - A third of the game gone and, after a slow start, Congo are very much back into this game. No goalmouth action so far, but very tense ...

28 - Congo getting into this game now and putting pressure on Meyiwa's goal. No clear-cut chances, but lots of pressure.

25 - Congo win their first corner, but Meyiwa gets fingertips to the ball and Bafana can clear.

23 - Half-chance for Congo as a cross from the right finds Moutou, but he gets under the ball and it loops over the bar.

20 - Bafana win the ball in midfield and the ball is played to Rantie, but the Bournemouth man is a yard offside. Pity that...

18 - First corner of the match as Ndulula's cross is cleared, but Masango's delivery is a poor one.

15 - Freekick is played short by Bafana. Khumalo beats one defender and fires a long-range shot, but it's well over.

12 - Great atmosphere and support in Peter Mokaba Stadium. Shosholoza reverberating around the stadium!

9 - Chance: Great run by Rantie down the right. He beats one defender and squares, but the defence clears.

8 - Sudan caught offside a couple of times as the Bafana defence hold their line. No signs of nerves from Sibusiso Khumalo so far.

5 - First bit of Bafana pressure, but the move breaks down as Masango gets tackled. Promising though.

4 - Couple of early calls going against Bafana. Still no flow to the game. By the way, shout out to the groundsman. Pitch looks great.

1 - Game on. Bafana playing from left to right.

The referee is Bahara Diatta from Senegal.

Formalities all done - about 1000 dignitaries have shook hands with the players and anthems are done ... now for the real business!

The Players seem to be enjoying possession. We should limit Congo to go into our final 3rd and not hurry much when going forward, we tend to not know what we doing..Mathoho seems to be enjoying himself...playing like a seasoned Player.Furman and Jali controlling the Midfield well. We musnt play too much inside but use our width more....in Shakes Kungoane's voice, "Lets stretch them"

Is this guy Ndulula or Nduku (Patla). He can't make a descent pass or hold the ball well. He's costing us. Kermit or Zulu (Pirates killer) can do well.

@Nantsi. Your analysis is infant or rather too slow. He's giving us nothing. Watch the space .............. We will do well once he's substituted.
