Sarr hungry for more goals for Orlando Pirates following strike against Polokwane City in Telkom Knockout

Posted: 7 October 2014 Time: 13:04

Orlando Pirates midfielder Issa Sarr is hungry for more goals after opening his account for the Soweto giants on the weekend.

Sarr equalised with a glancing header in Pirates' 2-1 victory over Polokwane City in the Telkom Knockout Cup at Orlando Stadium.

It was the Senegal international's 10th outing for Bucs following his arrival in May from Platinum Stars, who he netted for once last season in the Nedbank Cup.

"I’ve been looking for this first goal. Every time I step on the field I keep telling myself I’ll get a chance to score,” he tells KickOff.com.

“I want to score more goals for Pirates," he adds.

After Sunday's game (vs Polokwane), I think Senzo must be worried that this man wants to score more goals

Issa Sarr you hv come to the party bro. Keep it up. Manyisa has to join you now. I just wish we could hv Matlaba, Jele, Sangweni, and Phungwayo as da back four..then cement da mid with a combination #to_be_found. Then we will be good to go

MloizaFaku very gud back four and i just got comfirmation from Matlaba that he is actually right footed which makes it easy for him to b used at right back.
