AmaZulu's Nkosinathi Mthiyane returns to training following injury

Posted: 15 September 2014 Time: 22:13

Nkosinathi Mthiyane has started light training following the arm fracture he suffered against Ajax Cape Town in the opening match of this season’s PSL.

The left winger is a missing piece of the puzzle at Usuthu. His club is the only team who have yet to get a victory so far in six games and with that being the case, they are down propping the log.

The left winger is hoping to be fully fit by the end of the month, and is targeting immediate return to action to help his side get back on track, with AmaZulu lurking at the foot of the table without a victory to their name so far this season.

"Things are no longer the same now and I'm getting better," Mthiyane confirms.

"I have started light training and I'm feeling good and I'm very close to getting back into the fold. I don't want to lie, but I'm hoping by end of this month I will be fit and I'm sure with that time scale, I will be alright.

"The pain is not the same now and of course with the pain and injury of that nature, you have to get used to it and take good care as well, so you will go into matches prepared and fully fit."

Usuthu drew 2-2 at the weekend against Polokwane City in an entertaining encounter at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The result leaves the KZN-based side rooted to the bottom of the table, with just three points from their six matches so far this season.

Usuthu face a tough task in their next fixture, away at Bidvest Wits on 26 September.

It's good to hear, come back and help your team get out of that position
