PSL transfer news: Platinum Stars join race with Orlando Pirates and Bidvest to sign Manaka

Posted: 29 August 2014 Time: 14:39

KickOff.com has learnt Platinum Stars have joined the race to sign midfielder Edgar Manaka from Black Leopards.

Manaka was known to be on the wanted list of Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits, but Dikwena are now making frantic efforts to lure him to Rustenburg.

"Platinum Stars are in," says a source. "There could be a big surprise."

This website previously discovered that Leopards have placed a price tag of around R3-million on the 25-year-old.

Manaka’s contract expires in June next year, and Lidoda Duvha risk losing the player for free if nothing materialises before the transfer window closes at 17h00 today.

your reasoning doesn't make sense, if only Stiga was a winger it would ve made sense, Stiga s a CM with no pace for a winger
