Former Free State Stars defender Kampamba Chintu has been offered a contract by AmaZulu after impressing the club’s technical team during his trials recently.

Usuthu coach Clive Barker has confirmed to KickOff.com that his team will be meeting with Chintu today with the intention of finalising the deal.

_quote “Chintu is a quality defender and that’s why we brought him here from Zambia.

“He has impressed during the time that he has been training with us and we hope to finalise his contract today.”

Barker also announced that striker Dumsani Ngwenya has recovered from injury and has started light training.

“Ngwenya has started jogging and working on his upper body. I hope that he and Collins Chabalala will be back to the required fitness level within two weeks.”
