Disclosing this, Bafana media officer Sifiso Cele said 17 of the 23 players had arrived at their Pretoria camp ahead of the 2010 Afcon qualifier against Equatorial Guinea at the weekend. The others are expected in camp by tomorrow.
Baloyi, who has been standing between the posts following the hip injury to the Brazilians’ No 1 Calvin Marlin, last played for Bafana more than two seasons ago.
Bloemfontein Celtic minder Shu-Aib Walters has also been called up by national team coach Joel Santana.
Speaking to KickOff.com while on his way to Pretoria to join the rest of Bafana players in camp, Walters said was he was still on Cloud Nine about his call-up.
“I got call at around 3 o’clock notifying me that I must join Bafana in camp, but I am still feeling all mixed up; I’m both excited and nervous about the call-up.”

I don't think Baloyi will be playing anyway. This might be his last trip with Bafana Bafana. Not a Bafana material anymore. They should take younger guys for experience.
i wish we had a young keeper who is young and commanding and wont make small errors that at international level wont be punished for. guys we need to be honest, Khune isn't going far with his height, he'll be in S.A in 10 yrs time. he's very short and Euro teams will beat us by big margins if we hv such a short keeper. instead we should be looking at Roberts at Ajax. he wasn't groomed in S.A, a typical keeper anywhere in the world, its a pity he's not playing for the big 3, he's 27 and still south African and he has the right hight and physigue to make it......but with Khune between the post even Eng will beat us bcoz we wont hv the kind of keeper to challenge in the case of a set piece. khosis khune will be the solution but not national team, we need to be honest on this one and lets not push him like we used to push for fernandes to be there and noww we dont want him....... the country comes first with the world cup at sight.
Baloyi = 5 goals in the past 2 games.
Khune = 2 goals in the past 2 games.
It facetious that we have Baloyi in the national team after his last outing. I think we expert a lot from Santana even God can't coach a butch of useless players.
I fully agree with you. SA players are mediocrities; they can’t trap, pass or win the ball. No one is better between Khune and Baloyi, they are all useless. People support them because of their clubs. If Baloyi is that good and organizes his defense, why did he concede 4 goals over the weekend? Khune is cost Chiefs points’ game in game out.
They are both useless be on air or in the ground, Josephs is even worse.
