NFD side Vasco da Gama complete deals for Aleni Lebyane and Samuel Julies

Vasco da Gama have completed the signing of veteran striker Aleni Lebyane while Samuel Julies has returned to the club from Mamelodi Sundowns.

Lebyane has signed on a season-long deal with an option of another year, while the terms of Julies’ deal remain unspecified.

The 33 year-old forward Lebyane has found no luck in the PSL since leaving Mpumalanga Black Aces with training stints at Chippa United and Moroka Swallows all ending in nothing.

Vasco have also signed former BidVest Wits goalkeeper Steven Hoffman, with Kenny Gertse, the general manager at Vasco, confirming the signing of all the new players.

Vasco have also brought in Nicholas Mynhardt on loan from Kaizer Chiefs while Tumelo Mopedi has also joined after battling to break through at Aces last season.

The Cape Town club have thus added to the likes of Danleigh Borman, Sibusiso Mxoyana, Johannes Motlhaping, Tshowana Mokonyana and Sibusiso Mokoena, who have all been recruited for the 2014/15 season.
