Former Platinum Stars and Orlando Pirates coach Owen da Gama has resigned from Free State Stars, citing interference in his running of Ea Lla Koto.
Da Gama's resignation takes immediate effect.
The former Moroka Swallows’ striker took over from Ghanaian David Duncan only two months ago.
Reports allege that a senior Stars’ official tried to influence Da Gama’s selection ahead of their weekend game against Bay United in Welkom.
Ea Lla Koto registered their first win of the season when they beat the Port Elizabeth-based club 3-2 in Welkom yesterday.

FFS must go back to Mvela where it belongs,Duncan was doing a good job at pre season, winning the Phakisa Cup defeating OP & KC on the process, but FFS decided to bring ODG as a "Technical Adivisor" & ODG was interferring with Duncan's selection,so Duncan resigned, now ODG is having a taste of his medicine.
