Roger de Sa says Toriq Losper can play against Ajax

Posted: 25 August 2014 Time: 12:30

Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa says there is no clause preventing Toriq Losper from playing against them tomorrow night.

The 22-year-old recently joined Bidvest Wits on loan in a swap deal that saw Robin Ngalande move to Ikamva.

The Urban Warriors and Students clash in an Absa Premiership match in Cape Town on Tuesday but De Sa says, unlike Mamelodi Sundowns' controversial policy, they have no problem with Losper being in the opposition line-up.

“I’m sure he is going to play because we have not put any of those conditions or type of things on him,” ‘RDS’ tells KickOff.com.

De Sa says he has been impressed with Losper’s progress since his move to Johannesburg.

“He has done very well and has given them a little different dimension to the team.

“I know he went there to replace Papy Faty, who has a long-term injury. He has always wanted to go to Johannesburg; he pleaded, begged and got it right. He has really taken his opportunity and I wish him good luck.”

This article is meant to have a go at Sundowns. Since when are other teams having the same clause that disallow the loaned players not to play against them?

I really don't understand the reason behind this clause because Sundowns can beat any team with the players are in the stands.

Editor (Christopher Maqashu), please do your reseach and stop embarrassing your parents. The are only three teams in PSL with such clause. It is therefore ignorant and stupid of you to expect Losper to be affected by such clause. Do you even know which teams are having such clause?

it does not matter who pays what, if you are in the business of soccer u must be competitive an not hide behind boardroom stupid politics to worm your way into the throne and claim that u are champions when the entire psl cant field their strongest squad against you, we call that cowardice and salute Roger u are spot on there coach its called fair play

Losper is very loyal to Ajax, let us wait for him to score an own goal and only then will some of you start understanding the importance and relevance of such clause.
