Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Kudakwashe Mahachi says he will not let the goal he scored on debut against Moroka Swallows go to his head.
The Zimbabwean netted after receiving a pass from Elias Pelembe in the 83rd minute, 10 minutes after replacing the injured Themba Zwane at Dobsonville Stadium.
Downs won the League game 2-0, with another new signing Mame Niang bagging a 53rd minute opener.
"I would like to thank my coach (Pitso Mosimane) for affording me an opportunity to play and I won't allow the goal to go into my head as it will make me big-headed," said Mahachi, who recently had a move to Monaco fall through.
"All I have to do is stay focused and keep working hard and never relax. I have no personal targets but all I want is to work hard and help my team do well."
The 20-year-old signed with the PSL champions during the January transfer window, but spent the remainder of last term on loan at Highlanders back home.
The victory was the Brazilians' first of the season, while they handed the Dube Birds their first loss of 2014/15.
