Dolly, Mzwakali face late fitness test for Ajax Cape Town

Posted: 7 August 2014 Time: 12:35

Ajax Cape Town midfielder Keagan Dolly and newly promoted youngster Ziyaad Eksteen will undergo late fitness tests ahead of the League opener against AmaZulu on Sunday.

Ajax coach Roger de Sa, however, is confident the pair will pull through in the absence of captain Dominic Isaacs and fellow casualty Bantu Mzwakali.

The latter duo picked up groin problems during pre-season training.

“We do have a couple of injuries, Bantu and Isaacs have been out of action for the last four weeks with injuries which they picked up during pre-season,” De Sa says.

“But apart from that, those who will go for a late fitness test are Keagan Dolly and 'Ziggy' but they should be available over the weekend.”

Honestly speaking, I don't see anything special in this boy, I keep watching him over and over again, I see nothing.

I will be watching this guy again as i also don't think he is that good. Maybe I'm comparing him with Serero, someone whom every PSL team would plan around him. I don't think teams have sleepless night when facing Ajax because of this guy. He is like other players and no-need to deploy more than one player to mark him. He is really not in the mould of Khama, Musona, Jali and Serero...those are young men who had taken PSL by storm. I have the same feeling with Qalinge, I think he will be another Myeni, so as my player, Zwane...they are just good, skillfull but not that effective.
