PSL Transfer News: Bidvest Wits enquire about Egar Manaka

Posted: 4 August 2014 Time: 13:04

Bidvest Wits have made enquires about Edgar Manaka, but the player’s heart remains with Orlando Pirates.

The Buccaneers and Polokwane City are eyeing the Black Leopards midfielder, and KickOff.com has learnt that Wits have also raised a hand of interest.

“There were talks between the two clubs [Leopards and Pirates], but it now looks like Pirates are dragging their feet, which could open door for Wits to sign the player," our source says.

At the moment, Manaka is still training with Leopards.

I think he may be good material. Maybe a consolation for losing Ngele. Anyway it was a blessing in Disguise becoz Ngele was likely to keep Klate on the bench and then we miss the KLATE-nisation of Khune in the derbies to come. Khune was the happiest man when they avoided Pirates because he knows that losing to Platinum will be less painful
