Thapelo Tshilo extends Polokwane City stay

Posted: 31 July 2014 Time: 20:29

Former youth international defender Thapelo Tshilo will remain at Polokwane City this season after agreeing to extend his stay with the club.

Tshilo had signed a one-year deal – which expired at the end of June – when joining at the beginning of last season, but the club has now confirmed that the 29-year-old is staying put.

“Everything has been fixed and is above board, plus we have a good relationship with him so he is staying on with us,” says Abel Mohubedu, the City communications manager.

Tshilo spent much of last season captaining the club.

It gonna be tough for Polokwane City to keep their PSL status come the end of the season, infact I think they will finish stone last and get the chop.

I have been watching him closely, this guy costed PLK city alot of games.Especialy towards the dying minutes of the games, he made lots of careless fouls and created penaltie. The management should hv opted to retreave both from retirement, just like Mpumalanga did with Mabizela.

I can say, both Plk, and Swallows are going down.
