Ghanaian striker Mark Amofah was the hero for his new Danish team, Sonderjysk Elitesport at the weekend when he scored two goals to help his team qualify for the quarterfinals of the Danish FA Cup after beating Viborg 2-0.

Amofah who was deemed surplus to requirements at Bloemfontein Celtic during the off-season, proved his goal scoring prowess by scoring a goal in each half. He put his name on the score sheet in the 7th minute and then again in 78th minute of the game.

The former Phunya Sele Sele player, who seems to have won the hearts of Sonderjysk supporters and coach Nicolas Wael, has scored three goals in Denmark with the third coming in a recent league game.
